Baku currently installs for all users and thus requires admin rights on the machine. However on a Windows Domain a user most likely won't have admin rights. Yet he may still with to use Baku to clean files or shrink his registry.
The Windows Installer (.MSI) framework also supports installing only for the current user, which doesn't require Admin permissions (In which case the program goes into the user's profile instead of Program Files). When I attempt to run Baku using the current user option for the Microsoft Installer, it doesn't work: msiexec /ju baku.msi Is it possible to update the installer in the next release to include an option to install only for the current user? P.S. Awesome program! |

Hi, I made a modification to the msi file to use the property ALLUSERS set to 2 for per-user installation.
When the next build is released try it. |
